Web PMon

Problem:
MascoTech Forming Technologies want to move PMon to the Web and start building a plant Intranet.

Solution:
A Visual Basic application spools data from the Allen Bradley PLC network and inserts records into DB2. A Domino Intranet application serves the data to the end users from the DB2 database. Another module reads the production schedule from DB2/400 and serves it to the end users.

Technologies:
Lotus Domino, IBM DB2, Visual Basic, Allen Bradley PLC5, OS/400 and Windows

Work done on this project:

Designed the application and developed the code in LotusScript, Visual Basic, HTML and JavaScript. The DB2 database was accessed using the DB2 LSX connector
