Kwame is bad for business

just goDetroit has a bad enough image without its selfish, gutless mayor making it worse. The guilt-by-association extends to the region and the state.

So, say I’m a company looking to locate or expand in Michigan. And I’m accountable to ainvestors, to a board, to shareholders, to SarbOx.

Or, say I’m an outstate investor, deciding whether to send my money to Michigan, or to have my NewCo move closer to my wallet.

Or, say I’m an in-deman knowledge worker, with the opportunity to move to Ann Arbor or to Madison. Nuff said.

Mayor Kwame is just plain bad for business.

Nobody ever got fired for buying IBM; by the same logic, nobody prospers for choosing Michigan – so long as Mayor Kwame is dragging us down.

There’s no good way to fix this – recall, impeachment, city council action, or a deus-ex-machina demoument from Governor Grandholm.

Let it be over quickly. Let election-year politics reclaim the headlines. Let it all be forgotten, soon, please.

Mayor Kwame, you’re bad for business. It’s time to go.
